pontil-handblown-crystal-champagne-flutes-set-of-2
Pontil Handblown Crystal Champagne Flutes — Set of 2

Pontil's champagne flutes come in four tints — Madder, Garnet, Verdigris and Umber. The colour runs the full depth of the glass, so a filled flute and an empty one read as two different objects on the same table. Choose a tint below, or take two and let them sit next to each other.

A short, confident stem under a bowl that draws in at the rim — the everyday European shape, made in colour that runs the full thickness of the glass.

Narrow enough to hold a bead, tall enough to make an occasion of it. Pontil sits low on the table, so it reads as colour on the cloth rather than colour in the air. Two tints that sit near each other, then one that doesn't, is the fastest way to a table that looks composed rather than matched.

Highlights

Colour carried through the full thickness of the glass, not applied to the surface

Lead-free crystal, made in the Czech Republic

Laser-cut, fire-polished rim — smooth edge, harder against chips

Gift-packed as standard, with no prices anywhere in the parcel

Builds into a set: add a tint at a time, or take the whole colourway at once

Craft

The tint is carried through the whole piece rather than sitting on the surface, which is why it pools and darkens at the base of the bowl and thins almost to clear at the rim.
