Is the glass lead-free?
Yes. Every piece in the range is lead-free crystal.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
We recommend handwashing across the range. Some collections tolerate a dishwasher better than others, and the specific guidance is on each product page. Lume, which is finished with a hand-applied lustre, is handwash only — dishwasher detergent will dull the finish. See our care guide.
What is the difference between body-tinted and base-tinted?
Body-tinted glass carries the colour through the full thickness of the material, so it pools at the base of the bowl and thins toward the rim. Base-tinted glass has a clear bowl with the colour applied to the stem, foot or lower body. Full explanation here.
Why do two glasses of the same colour look slightly different?
Because the colour is either melted into the glass or applied by hand, depth and coverage vary a little from piece to piece. It is a characteristic of the process, not a defect — and it is why a set never looks machine-matched.
How many pieces come in a set?
Set quantity is stated in every product title and again in the specifications on the product page. Pairs are two, quartets are four, and our six-tint sets are six.
Can I mix tints across a set?
Our composed sets — the Pontil Quartet, the Marver Duet, the Pontil Ensemble — are already mixed. For anything else, order the tints you want separately; the pieces within a collection are made to sit together.
Do you offer engraving or personalisation?
Not at the moment.
Is it gift-wrapped?
Every order is gift-packed as standard, and no prices appear anywhere in the parcel.
Where is it made?
In Europe — the Czech Republic and Tuscany, depending on the collection. The country of origin is listed in the specifications on every product page.
